I honestly don't understand how anyone stayed with the series after gold.

Gen3 R/S was a fucking atrocity and should have sunk the series.

>reused sprites from just colored for 16 bit
>Bullshit mechanics like natures iv/evs introduced
or discovered

>reused models from n64 on the Gamecube
>collseum looked like a fucking turd compared to any other gamecube title.
>same reused models used on the fucking Wii in the gen 4

>Mystery dungeon cementing the fact that gamefreak were lazy incompetent shits who had no idea what they were doing.

Someone else gets the ip and it's and it's leagues better than their main product.
If it wasn't pokemon branding, reviewers would have rained hellfire on them during that gen.

For all the oldfags and non-zoom zooms you should have realized it then. I did, I saw gen 3 in the store and instantly said "fuck no". Tried to give it a chance again in gen4, but it was abject shit in comparison to other monster rpgs and even games with side monster shit like arc the lad.
