fairy didn't even do much to nerf dragons except make hydreigon more of a niche pick. the type itself was never an issue and gens 1-3 showed it kek

The only reason dragons weren't an issue in the early gens is because they had no good Dragon STAB. Once they got the phys/spec split and Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor they became absolute cancer. I actually bow my head and pray to Clefable every night, that's how much fairies saved this god-forsaken franchise.
