this is my take on Marshadow, why he's important, and why his exclusive Z-Power-Move has the Z-Power-Move symbol
> marshadow
marshadow is an immortal pokemon- well, as immortal as a ghost can be, -who hides in the shadows of others and learns to fight like those he follows. years of practice have made him the smartest fighter of all, and it's said that it was marshadow who discovered Z-Moves, how to use them, how they work, and what ritual dances each move needs. marshadow first taught the tapu's after he first learned how to use his Soul-Stealing 7 Star Strike. the move, "Guardian Of Alola," was discovered while marshadow was trying to teach the tapu's how to use Z-Moves. this is because of the unusual abundance of ultra aura that surrounds each tapu. the tapu's then found more necrozma parts like sparkling stones and z-crystals to give to trainers they deem worthy of Z-Power. whenever a tapu found an unique z-power crystal, they would take it to marshadow, who would learn what pokemon could use such a z-crystal, what move it would make, and how to properly use that move.
many trainers sought the potential power of the most talented fighter of all pokemon, as well as a Z-Move mastermind, so trainers would often try to catch marshadow. marshadow stopped trusting humans, always hiding from them. he only appears to the tapus in order to teach them moves or receive z-power crystals.
finally, marshadow can see into the hearts of man or pokemon, and judge them.
