>>45246308There's a big difference between playing a game where some stuff from previous game isn't featured and simply ignoring stuff actually in the game. Plus if your point is that banned mons are banned because balance there's no reason to not code other pokemon in the game, since they could always ban them in some formats but still let you use them in single player mode (just like you can use Calyrex, Zacian, Eternatus or Zygarde in single player even if they are banned in a certain format of multiplayer mode)
