When you replay a Johto game, do you go to G/S/C or HG/SS?

Depends on what I'm in the mood for. I like GSC's graphics, atmosphere, and some dialogue better, but HGSS has better gameplay all around.

I generally prefer HG/SS but since I can emulate Game Boy games on my phone it's far easier to replay Crystal. As much as I loved the DS it is kind of hard to go back and play those games now unless you're playing on original hardware, which is a shame.

Crystal always. But when I play them now I don't usually do any post game stuff, I put it down after beating red. And I'm not a fan of the gen 4 engine

Both, depends on my mood. Playing Silver right now, but just played Soul Silver a year or so ago. I tend to alternate every year or two.

The better versions hg/ss, for those who try to argue, you can’t use the less content than crystal excuse like you can with emerald and oras if you dont like pokemon like yanmegga over yanma don’t evolve it. Also the physical special split was a good thing stop being a contrarian
