No hating it, just disappointed how much potential was lost simply because the writers had no fucking idea how to write the battle in a compelling way. SM in general had problems with its absolute shit tier battles so maybe I shouldn't have had any expectations.

Sinnoh, especially towards the end, had great battles. Even the Grand Festival was good, I love Zoey vs Nando where Leafeon gets those wings from Mismagius’s Psywave/Aerial Ace combo.
