I've been a lifelong Pokémon fan ever since I was a stupid kid but I got disillusioned with the franchise after USUM, mobile games and waifubait. I heard they added Dialga back into this game and i'm mildly interested. Will I have any fun at all with this game or will I spend the entire game seething?

If you like online battles its super easy and fast to make competitive teams now.
Outside of that the main game isn’t very good.

If you didn't like USUM you won't like this, just wait for the eventual gen 4 remakes to be announced. They're probably working on them right now. or it could be a Johto remake if they want to reuse LGPE assets, it's honestly 50/50 imo

USUM was fine but if you want to buy a game exclusively for dialga just wait a year and buy the diamond remake when it comes out.
