Just read it, it has strangely specific conditions. It'd actually be simpler to make the puddle evo a different form and make its ability half the damage of the initial fire-type move so it doesn't OHKO before the form change

Just make them cycling forms instead of different evolutions. This is not how Pokémon evolution works.

Then at lv100 it gets locked into whichever evolution stage its at. You'd have to change the evolution conditions in order to bypass that. Not a bad idea but I don't think this is the monster to use that on

So this is my take on a bookworm mon. It's supposed to look like a kids cardboard sock puppet (with googly eyes that would move around) and would be 2d so it can fold itself in books and spring out on unsuspecting readers. Sorta like a jack in the box.

If anyone could draw it more in the pokemon style I would appreciate it.
