>>45270009If you buy SwSh right now, they come with free updates for the Expansion Pass that expand the Pokedex. So even without buying the DLC, SwSh has 667 Pokemon available in the game, which you can receive through catching, native trading, GTS, and Raids. That is the biggest amount of available Pokémon in a game ever.
Now buying the DLC gives you every single tool you would ever need to create a competitively viable team in a short amount of time, allowing you to jump into the competitive scene without having to worry about that intimidating learning curve and hours of grinding.
The Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra are also huge Wild Areas accessible after the tutorial portion of the main game is completed, which are fully expanded upon and actually feel like open world experiences. There are secrets hidden throughout each area that reward you for exploring.
Both DLC come with their own cast of characters and stories that both expand the main game story and give you fun and memorable character interactions. Hell each DLC have their own postgame mini stories along with the main game’s own postgame stories, so thats 6 story quests in total in a single Pokemon game, that’ll last you 40+ hours at the very least to complete the bare minimum.
And as far as gameplay modes, each DLC adds one on top of the Battle Tower and regular Max Raids that come with the main game, so you are never going to be left with nothing to do.
And last but not release, the OST is 10/10. Faggots will call me a shill but I can at least be honest with myself after playing these games.
