>>45272362Its weird because if they stick with the cutting memes then we shouldn't be getting most of if any of the pokemon from galar, but realistically TPC is going to reuse as many assets as they can for the DP remakes to save time. I don't think limiting the pokemon you can transfer over is an inherently bad thing but I think TPC is lying about their intentions with it. If it really was about giving the developers more time to work on animations or textures, why did the DLC walk all of that back? From a game design perspective it makes sense to not want to work with 1000 unique 3d models with a bunch of different animations, but looking at the pokemon actually included in the galar dex makes me think they literally just pulled names out of a box. Do we really need Throh, Sawk, and the Tyrogue lines in the same game on top of all the other fighting pokemon included?
