>>45285951Not him but I disagree. People before WW2 could just grab land and live it out. There are jobs that would support a family quite easily. If you don't have a job, you could just farm. Parental role was actually a thing and one of the key to a successful family with one staying home and teaching/raising the kids while the other work.
Now, having two parents working over time isn't enough and kids are being taught crap in school and colleges. People cannot start a family when they're taught that they HAVE to go to a university, pick up a pile of debt, and have zero hope of owning their own house, much less starting a family. The whole nation wide shutdown and the lost of many jobs because of said shutdown isn't helping, either.
