>>45282319I didn't really care what gender my pokemon were until gen 6 made me hate having male pokemon. I was playing Pokemon Y and there's that Amie feature that lets you max out a pokemon's Affection towards you. Max Affection has battle benefits like your pokemon healing status ailments quickly, or surviving deadly attacks at 1 hp that would otherwise kill them. They would also sometimes show "pink hearts" in battle towards you as a sign of their love for you.
I was playing as the male MC and I didn't mind it when my girl pokemon had "pink hearts" for me. Girl pokemon doing girly things like that is fine imo. However, when my male Lucario and Charizard had "pink hearts", I was morally repulsed by their gayness towards me. I quickly removed them from my team and released these faggot mons.
Ever since then, I exclusively only raised female pokemon on my teams. Some of you might think it's because I'm a waifufag, but I'm honestly not one. I just really hate homos and I find it more acceptable when a girl pokemon shows hearts during Amie, or during battle, or when I pet them after battle (
