Use case in anime:

>I am in battle and have a Ditto.
>Ditto uses Transform to opponent pokemon
>and it learns opponent pokemon moves

How I, as the Ditto's trainer, know which moves has learnt my Ditto? how can I order it which move has to do?

In universe you'd just observe what moves your opponent said before, and if all else fails you can just say Tackle or Bite or whatever

In anime the Pokedex used to tell you what moves you could learn, it could probably work that way too in the games.

Wasn't there an episode where Duplica battled Ash and when one of her ditto copied his totodile she told it to use hydropump and was surprised when it failed because Ash's totodile hadn't learned it? The only way for the trainer to know is to either observe their opponents or be familiar with their learn sets and make educated guesses.

It probably just duplicates their brains and has all their memories so each time it transforms it's basically temporarily recreating the mind of the opponent who only has enough time to despair that it's a clone being controlled by some little faggot face blob before it's wiped out of existence forever

The Drake battle was the best showcase of Ditto. It just copied whatever Pikachu did. But while Ditto could copy Pikachu's moves, it couldn't copy Pikachu's physical condition, so it lost because it wasn't as /fit/.
