For whatever reason they had LOADS of Gen 1 stuff in stock in their toys section on the bottom floor. It was always empty and they had a shit tonne of Base set, Fossil and Team Rocket sets, although oddly enough no Jungle (I did actually find packs of Jungle on sale in a little toy shop in Ireland a few years later but have nothing really interesting from that). While I was collecting these I got a FireRed theme deck as a gift if that gives any indicator of the timeframe
>MachampHolo from the 2 player starter set. This is probably extremely common but I still love it. Always thought the effect was cool as shit. This was the first Pokemon TCG thing I properly owned. I have all the original starter set cards, rule books, damage counters and I think box somewhere too
>Moltres, Magneton and Dark CharizardThe day after I got my starter deck I begged my Dad to go back to the store and get some boosters. I got 2 base set, 2 fossil and 2 Team Rocket and these where the holos I pulled, Moltres being the first. I was in particular hyped about Dark Charizard, I was a huge Charizardfag as a kid (and still am unfortunately) so an edgy Charizard was right up my alley

>CharizardGot this off my cousin after begging for it, he knew Charizard was my favourite and I think I probably unintentionally ripped him off. I remember giving him some Gen 4 era holos for it. I know it's Base Set 2 but having this Charizard in any form was a childhood dream come true.
