Megas arguably too, with a few cases being dogshit unusable trash becoming viable. Already powerful Pokemon should have never got megas

Not really. It leads to one of the dumbest stories in Pokémon and will never make sense in any other region unless they're also a tournament obsessed one. It's the most one-note of gimmicks and it's literally just inflation.
