I don't get what people want from horse pokemon. First Rapidash is too boring, then Zebstrika and Keldeo are too simplistic or cartoony, then Mudsdale isn't realistic enough, now they're too much like real horses. What do you want???

The Ice one I think is the best and pretty solid, though its hooves would work better if they were smaller.

But it's painfully obvious they just recycled alternate rapidash form ideas, and they really don't feel that legendary.

This is my problem with them. Sure zacian and zamazenta are subpar, but I can at least tell they're legendaries just by looking at them. These horses just look like regular pokemon.

I think they are obviously designed with Calyrex in mind. When they are fused they look legendary in my opinion. The designs are definitely lame on their own.

They're weird to me, I like them but they are some of the laziest designs I've ever seen being basically reskins of Rapidash, in the same gen where it got a regional form. It doesn't help that Calyrex is ugly as fuck and its design doesn't fit with the horses at all.

Glastier is the most gen 1 Pokémon from outside of the original games. It has 1.5/two colors, could easily be turned into a gen 1 or 2 sprite. It’s an anatomically accurate horse, just like Rapidash and it has an asymmetric, highly textured, manga-esque icicles. It’s basically a better regional Rapidash than the actual region form of Rapidash was, which is nu-gen garbage.

Spectier.... is exactly what you say it is. A filthy piece of nu-gen trash.
