Is there a mainline game that you need to grind in? Claire in HGSS is probably the closest thing to being “grindworthy”

Blue to Red in HGSS (28 levels) assuming you're not ridiculously overleveled from Kanto/ going into Red underleveled

I used it when i did mobile emulation to put the whole game on x2 or x3 but then i realized i was missing out on the game sound. I played on my computer and made it a rule to not use the buttons and i am having a blast.
