>>45311809I've already told you that you don't play. Lopunny is not a Greninja answer. How the fuck does Lopunny switch into any water attack? Even if you predict a dark attack, guess what, the Greninja player will obviously switch while you had to take big chip damage.
Any random Pokemon with a fighting move can beat Greninja in a 1v1 scenari. Every team, even offense, still needs somewhat reliable Greninja switch-ins because your Lopunny won't be switching in and it also won't prevent Greninja from switching out. More offensive teams can't really run shit like specially defensive Toxapex, Gastrodon, Mega Venusaur or even fucking Chansey. All of which minus Chansey are still prone to flinches and don't prevent Spikes from going up. Bulu is nice more offensive check but has to worry about random Ice Beam sets. Yes, Pokemon which can tank its STAB moves exist, sure. It still pressures everything with Spikes or continuous chip damage because chances are if you have a Pokemon that's supposed to switch in it will have to switch in more than once. The main reason shit like AV Tangrowth or defensive Kommo-o is even good is specifically Ash Greninja. It's such a centralizing offensive Pokemon you have to run very dedicated answers to it and yet it still always puts in work because it's so fast and powerful and gets up Spikes for free because it forces so many switches.
Also why the fuck are you comparing it to Jirachi? Jirachi has 100 base stats. Yes, it's annoying but it's STAB combinations have plenty of obvious and common switch-ins. It's way easier to outspeed and it's way easier to tank hits from it. If you sack something against it then it doesn't become stronger.
I'm still waiting for you to explain what relevant OU Pokemon actually use fighting priority by the way. Seriously, that comment alone should be enough to not discuss OU with someone anymore but I'm generous.
