I like the idea of movepool cuts for balance but dislike the removal off pursuit. we need to find ways to punish switching more instead of rewarding it.

In my ideal meta movepools would still be cut including HP but pursuit would be back, HDB would only neutralize the super effective damage of SR instead of neutering all hazards and Regenerator would be a Mienfoo line signature ability.

So, just to be clear so that I'm not misunderstanding you, every Pokemon benefits an equal amount from Dynamax?
For example, if you had Metagross and Dusclops out, Dynamaxing each of them is an equally valid choice and will result in an equal chance of victory?
I just want to make sure we're on the same page here, because it seems like that's what you're implying.

I don't know, is it? You're the one building the Pokemon. The fact of the matter is an attack boost is an attack boost for every Pokemon. How you to choose to use that in a battle is what the game is about.

Yes it is, because the Max Moves are boosting the moves their base forms have access to.

If Ninetales magically got access to Max Airstream it wouldn't be an equal boost because regular Ninetales already can't use Flying moves.
