The entire Scorbunny line here is just the three stages but BUSIER, Thwackey admittedly looks really nice here but it's a jarring change after not touching Grookey and leads into Rillaboom arguably worse then before. I get the point of the extra hair and engorged chest on it, and making the drumsticks more prevalent on the design is fitting, but it looks way more humanoid, to the point of looking like an outright barafag redesign, and that's a bad thing in any case.
Sobble line admittedly came out the best. Those extra teardrops on Sobble aren't necessary, but aren't egregious. Drizzile leads better into Inteleon I guess, but making the head fins hair-colored and seemingly the "trap" angle and instead leaning into it being Inteleon lite are disappointments. Inteleon came out the best of the three final stages, but thickening the limbs just hurts the overall emphasis on the hands and makes it look LESS like a basilisk lizard, and making the clothing patter a more obvious tux instead of a tux/diving suit/gliding suit mix just beats you over the head with the theme in a way base Inteleon just didn't. For all of it's faults, it'scthe second least "themed" and the LEAST personalized of the three Galar starters, whereas it's the MOST in both categories here.
