Is the extra prologue/epilogue actually worth it? I already played the Wii U version.

Prologue no but the epilogue yes. Epilogue pushes your knowledge of Pikmin in general to the limit. Also the QOL updates in general are fantastic and worth another replay

My only dissapointment is still no Purple or White Pikmin outside of challenge mode.
