Same thing happened when he did the Lightlocke (playing Smash Ultimate's World of Light mode, can't use a character again if they die obviously) - he was not the first person to do it and he straight up says he wasn't, but people still call it the "ALPHARAD LIGHTLOCKE CHALLENGE" because he was the first noteworthy person to attempt it. As you can no doubt tell, Lightlockes become a huge thing immediately after he did his first episode.
