I was doing a nuzlock in sword and then I found a shiny litwick as my first encounter in Kabu gym, my opponent poisons it and kills it

I was shiny hunting Riolu in USUM, and I had finally encountered one after a 100-long chain. You wanna know the first fucking move it uses? Final Gambit. I didn't even KNOW Riolu came with those in the wild, but thinking in hindsight, the original Riolu probably never chose it because I did the Leppa+Harvest trick, and all of the non-shiny chained ones I just oneshot. So I apparently got extremely lucky and then extremely unlucky right after

My shiny luck is infinitely worse. I've been playing since the 90s and the only ones I've ever found were a Spearow, which I killed on accident, and... a fucking Magikarp. No one cares about shiny Gyarados.
