Would a "Hack & Slash" pokemon game work?

We have seen pokemon going from RPG to puzzle, Getcha and fighting games.

So can TPC make "Hack & Slash" pokemon game where we get to play as Greninja or Lucario?

Even better if it's like "Genshin Impact" or "Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild".

A Musou-like Pokemon game (in the vein of something like Hyrule Warriors) could be pretty cool. There's so much source material for a game like that, they could do so much with it.

honestly pokemon, thanks to it's ridiculously expansive cast and supreme soft-magic/sci-fi mixture, lends itself well to just about any kind of game desu. It's such a shame they have barely even scratched the surface of it's potential lol.

A game like Genshin Impact where you can switch pokemon like how they switch characters is the end game of what a good pokemon game is. And the gacha system works really well with all the pokemon. There can be like artifacts or items that you can get and equip.
