Blaziken is one of the the ugliest fucking starters. No doubt its the ugliest in the first 3 generations, and still a top contender for the worst design five generations later.
I understand the dudes who picked up and loved Torchic and Combusken. Especially Gen 3 or even ORAS was your first game. I grew up with them in the anime, myself. But I beg of you, bros. Take a closer look at this mon's design.
Blaziken is unnervingly lanky and humanoid. It looks more like it's wearing puffy fleece pants and a snobby ballroom mask than it looks like a chicken. It's matted-down,white hair looks like it's from an aged tryhard rockstar. Once you notice the hair's split down the middle it gets even uglier.
I fucking hate this Image, man. I think I'd agree that Fire type starters only get overdesigned and worse looking as it goes on, but they're forcing the idea of which ones are the most furry. They don't want to admit the ugly trend started with Blaziken because it's an earlier pokemon with more fans. Emboar and Primate's quotes are forced as hell. And everyone knows Delphox actually is the most furry starter.
