Gen 6 gets so much hate but it was a decent region, I won't apologize as I never hated it, I was only let down by how rushed it felt after the 3rd gym.

The wild area is awfully implemented, it feels artificial and unrealistic, impossible to immerse yourself. Almost like a golf course with random biomes every 5th step.

The only things good about this region were the B/W2 added routes and the post-game routes.
The main game routes were so fucking bad it was criminal.

The fact that Serenafags and jobberfrog fags are the only long-lasting thing that came out of gen 6 should tell you a lot about the supposed "quality" of this gen. Literally worse than SwSh.

I think you mean random weather? The biomes in the wild area are pretty much all the same except for the desert in the north.

Unova had great routes/towns and had a lot of branch-offs in the routes that you could explore. and the linearity made sense since the game was very story driven. B2W2's changes just solidified Unova as the best region
