>>45367723There are a million different ways to deal with that Frogadier. Lanturn, Gyarados, Charjabug, Dubwool, Persian-Alola, Parasect, Lickilicky, Azumarill, and more are all accessible before that fight without even fighting Brendan in Vermilion and 1v1 the Frogadier if it doesn't Flip Turn out (some like Lanturn and Charjabug can also punish the switch with Thunder Wave), you can DexNav them to have great IVs and good moves on capture, you can EV train to be bulky and live a hit, because the Frogadier only has like 128 Atk and SpAtk EVs, by that same token there's a ton of grass types you have before that fight you can EV to live an Ice Punch (Sunflora, Roselia, Ivysaur, Carnivine) you can reset the fight dozens of times to see how Misty's AI reacts to your Pokemon, etc etc etc. And that's ignoring nuzlockers who don't even have most of those advantages who get past the fight ridiculously consistently.
You don't think you have massive advantages because you're playing it the same way you do a normal game. You're meant to take advantage of everything you can.
>>45368154Learn how EVs and IVs work, then use an infinite money cheat, and max them out with vitamins from the Celadon Dpt. Store/the IV perfecter in Celadon respectively.
>>45368452>>45368950Neither of these work, you can't use items in battle in Rad Red and using Rare Candies to get past the cap means your Pokemon will disobey you. It might work now, but once opponents start getting to level 80 being at level 100 isn't going to be a huge difference, and the disobedience will fuck you over.
