I love the pose and angularity on Nidorina and Nidorhino, and their snarled faces actually sort of fit, less so for how goof rhino's eyes are, though. Likewise the nidoking sprite is sick but I just wish the eyes weren't so close together. The goofy eyes works really well with diglet and dugtrio and mr mime; same for the toriyama eyes eggsexcute and Mewtwo have (I think using them instead of the goffy eyes all around would have looked great. And the gross, crazed look golbat, pysduck/golduck and koffing/weezing have actually suits them well. Same for weepinbell. Oddly not so much for grimer and muk and slowbro/poke, you'd think they'd benefit from it.
Cloyster and the Ghastly line/the ghost and kabutops look fucking radical. Ditto is adorable, though the more gen 2 esque dithering on it, chansey, tangela and starmie/yu is sort of at odds with the rest of the dex... the tangela and staryu line and non-aerodactyl fossil sprites look great, on that note, they aren't he;d back by the face/eye stuff at all. The Legendary birds look great, too, the chibiish proportions benefit them a lot, oddly.
Holy shit Jynx looks amazing, I wish that was the official design so much
Feeling lazy so not gonna comment on the non gen 1 mons much, but spirtomb and gliscor looks really sick and mean in a good way, as does trapinch (on that note, seaking looks suprisingly threatening with the eye)
