In universe media? Maybe? There is a few endings in a Pokestar Studio Movie in Black and White 2 where a Human misinterprets a moment where they thing a guy's girlfriend is his Pokemon. And I think another one where another character falls in love with a Smeargle.
So..maybe? These were both "Strange Endings" in this game, so its possible that its shown in universe media we just don't see it.

As much I think they don't want you questioning this, I'm kinda in the camp that says they probably have something like this happening in the world. Whether or not its acceptable is something we don't really know, the media never discusses romance really. But if in the media they can reference Pokemon falling in love with humans and humans falling in love Pokemon its probably a thing.

Its absolutely a joke in context, but that doesn't mean it not or can't be a thing in more mature media or cinema in the universe. I really can't say that it can't be a thing in that world when Pokemon are seen so closely to humans and with stuff like this where humans have attractions towards Pokemon and those moments where Pokemon have attractions towards humans.
