Bug Pokémon? Anthro bug
Steel type? Fursuit too
Ice type? Fursuit weasel
Charizard, Sceptile and Garchomp that are pretty similar design-wise...
There's no Venusaur because "not an anthro, very difficult to animate".
There's no rock type but it would be something like Midnight Lycanroc over potential choices like Onix, Probopass and Archeops, even if they aren't that popular.
If the game were actually fun the game would sell anyways. Not all fighting games need to make all fighters popular to be good, think about Mortal Combat where the fighters are grotesque and Tekken added this fat guy and a kawaii girl everyone hated.
