No. Evilote is gimicky as it is. There should simply be a way to get a first stage or second stage Pokemon's stats to match up to it's final evolutions stats without the actual form change. Not being able to use popular first stage Pokemon competitively simply because their stats are too low is shit.

Just a better Band/Specs for the Pokémon that would use it.
I guess that would also make Electabuzz definitely better than EVire.

They could just buff Magmortar and Electivire’s base stats. I wish they’d do what they did in XY again, there’s tons of mons that would really appreciate +10 in one of their stats.

probably controversial opinion but eviolite and everstone should be the same item. Like, if I want to keep it at a lower form, then wouldn't it make sense to at least get a bonus for it?

Bottle caps should just let you set a pokemons IVs to whatever you want.

I think there are niche cases such as in doubles, but I wasn't thinking about that. I simply meant that rather than a new item to bring IVs to 0, just consildate that function on to the old bottlecaps. Less item bloat that way.

Stakataka for example needs 15 or less IV’s in attack and a -def nature to get a beast boost on its attack instead of defense. That’s the only example I can think of though

Here, Scyther would have an attack Eviolite giving it a x1.5 boost, but ultimately does only 12 to 13 more damage than Scizor.
While Scyther in this case doesn’t get recoil, it has far less bulk, a worse typing, less moves, no priority, and like eviolite, getting your item removed will result in you having an NFE Pokemon on your team.
