>>45366433Pokewalkers don't actually store the Pokemon you put on them. The HGSS games sends over a simplified copy of the storage Pokemon and hides the original on the cartridge. When your Pokemon "returns", it's just deleting the simple copy and updating and unhiding the original.
If you lose a Pokewalker, there's an option in the game to unhide your Pokemon. If you do this and find your Pokewalker again, when you try to return the storage copy, the game will see that things don't match up and will delete it. If you still have the HGSS game/save that the Umbreon was on before you put it on the Pokewalker, you still have your Umbreon.
