Underwear was changed once a week every sunday at 7:30pm. Not 7:29, not 7:31. 7:30pm was showering time. People used to do that too, 60 years before. Was a bad odor, yes, but people didn't complain 60 years before, too, so why bother?
Nowadays I don't wear any underwear anymore. Saves money and the bad odor went away, too.
