There's nothing that hurts more than seeing redundant moves on pokemon, but leer and tail whip take the cake. Gen 1 is filled with pokemon that learn status moves that do the same shit.
My favorite is geodude learning harden at level 26, despite learning defense curl at level 6, and defense curl as 10 more PP too. Like, why?

I disagree. Wallace is a far poorer replacement for the champion than lance was after red. On the other hand, I do think Cynthia makes a better extra trainer rather than champion. And I don’t even care about that bitch. She seems more appropriate as a side story character like looker than as a working champion. Too bad she’s so popular.
