- Starters will be Pikachu and Eevee once again (Johto Starters will be picked by Gold/Crystal and stolen by Silver)
- All cross-generation evolutions and prevolutions of pokemon from Johto and Kanto will be available
- All Mega Evolutions of pokemon from Johto and Kanto will be available
- All Alolan and Galarian forms of pokemon from Johto and Kanto will be available
- Meltan and Melmetal along with Galrian evolutions including Perrserker, Sirfetch'd, Mr. Rime and Cursola will be available
