Again, Alola spammed Pikipek everywhere but that was to its detriment as it meant none of the routes had their own identity. Galar shoves old shitmons everywhere with no rhyme or reason and all of them are more likely to be found than Galar Pokemon.
Kalos doesn't have this problem, and despite the wider ratio of older Pokemon in the dex, none of them are spammed in the routes because every locale has a completely unique dex without even one of the entries repeating. Where, again, Alola and Galar liked to spam the same few Pokemon with a bunch of old ones scattered around.
