Ok. I’ve seen quite the amount of rumors going on about D/P remakes and even though some of them are pretty accurate, they all contain one or two details that are either fake or poorly detailed.

The info I have got is limited and might sound repetitive, but I assure you it comes from a trustworthy source.

Diamond and Pearl remakes are a thing and will come out on late 2021, expect a few teasing winks very soon.

Let’s go Johto is being planned but won’t be coming on 2021. The trademark of HG and SS are exclusively for the pokemon game collection that is being developed and will be announced in a few months from now.

Now, focusing on D/P remakes. I will go first with the things that have already been said and are true. Megas will be returning. The starters will have their own megaevolutions and so will some other mons like Floatzel, Togekiss, Roserade and Staraptor. Dialga and Palkia will have new forms and so will Arceus; the name of Arceus new form is not yet decided.

Team Galactic will be the one returning but with a new plan: They plan to capture and enslave Arceus to form a new dimension (with Dialga and Palkia too, of course). Sinnoh’s lore will be expanded and explained. Dr. Colress (Achroma) will do an appearance.

There will be a few sub quests alongside the main story, one focusing on the Unown.

The underground and beauty contests will be back. Puffin making is also a returning feature.
The use of HMs is not coming back and expect a few changes to the caves in the region.

I have no info if the pokemon following you feature will be returning or not.

Dinamax will not be included.

DLC’s are being planned to include the mythicals such as Darkrai and Shaymin; the names have not been decided yet.
