>>45384465I think that originally at some point he was probably planned for something bigger, whether that be Champion or an overarching plot with Flint and Jasmine more so than what was already done. But he was sidelined for Cynthia. Which is not a problem, she's a great, if not overused character at times, with a fantastic team and challenge for a kid's game.
It would be really nice to get gym leaders more fleshed out honestly. They've definitely been doing more in terms of the plot and their respective roles as well as neat little tidbits about them. But it would be nice to just see their average every day non-gym life too. Best we get involving that overall is probably Sabrina, considering we later see her in Unova acting, or with Elesa and her fashion career.
But I'm just ranting high, anyway, Volkner yeah something bigger, more gym stuff, thanks.
