>>45401787I didn't say anything about Gen VI's Elite Four. I never played past the second Gym. I still think Siebold and Malva have interesting personalities, more so than most Elite Four that came before them. Seibold having his autistic tantrums when you have a different opinion is entertaining, and Malva being a Team Flare supporter with a grudge against you is a neat idea but wasted potential. I can't say I care too much about Wikstrom, and I don't know anything about Drasna beyond "Dragon mommy".
In Gen I, Lorelei isn't interesting. Bruno could be any martial artist too, and the interesting thing about him is that he's in two games. Agatha is a real gem for a character that gets four parts of dialogue. Lance isn't so much interesting as a character, but he feels "epic" in a way from his Dragon team, big room, and fake-out. He got more cool stuff in Gen II which cements him better, especially since him being the Champion now is a twist.
In Gen II, I like Will for being showy and secretive simultaneously. He's not an amazing character, but he feels like more of a character than Lorelei, and there is the possibility that he was at one time planned to be Lorelei. Koga is cool in the way a ninja is cool, more of the same as Gen I. I like how he has a daughter because it humanizes him a bit. Karen is of course cool for a lot of reasons and made an impression on people.
In Gen III, Sidney is fine. I feel like they were going for a delinquent punk who is actually financily well-off and polite. Phoebe is cheery despite her type and is tied to somewhere you've been, so that's memorable. Glacia is boooooring. Drake is interesting in a similar way to Karen.
