Between the aces of Gym Leaders, E4, Cynthia, Galactic Bosses, and the gift Togekiss, we’ve got one fully evolved Gigantamax for each type. That works like SS did.
If we presume remakes will add less, that’s 18/26 Max.
Dialga and Palkia will get Somethingmax forms: we know from Calyrex that other Pokémon can induce their own Dynamax, and Dynamax is defined as warping Time-Space.
Giratina will probably get one, and it’s the perfect gimmick to give it a remake form: Dynamax doesn’t require an item, and Altered/Origin form could just share the same Dynamax with different stats and maybe a different Max move.
Probably Arceus too.
Throw in Regigigas too, he deserves something special and it gives us a reason to bother catching him again.

Up to 26, which sounds about right. If they add more than that but less than the DLC, probably some rando like Staraptor or Luxray (if Volkner Gmaxes Electivire instead). Maybe Rotom.
