Favorite gen 7 mon but could of been a steel ghost with a grass stab instead, I understand the logic but steel would of been better. Thank to the grass typing, it is useful against spore and powder moves

Probably my favorite pokemon from Gen 7. Being one of the only pokemon not revealed pre-release alongside Dewpider and Araquanid helped too. It's a welcome sight when water routes are stuffed to the gills with water types.

You initially look at this thing and think, "oh, it's a dirty old naval wheel as an objectmon, it even has a weird compass eye.", until you realize the Pokemon itself is nothing more than sentient seaweed that's weaponized a huge rusty anchor to gore shit with and the compass/wheel is simple ship debris that serves no purpose. Deceptively simple, and yet very appealing.

I was apathetic. We had two Ghost/Grass lines in the prior gen then another in the starter and then then this thing too.

Yeah I don't think I gave it the time of day though because I didn't realize is had a third STAB and I was a bit odd with using single stages. Steel/Ghost that doesn't have Aegislash gimmick would be ideal

Dhelmise has an amazing attack stat, but sadly it was introduced in the same generation as Alolan Marowak, who is also a slow ghost attacker but has 160 attack thick club

The Ghost typing feels pointless since it could've been just regular seaweed holding ship parts and not the weird "ghost of seaweed"
