The anime seems to have forgot about Hop.They even gave Hop's hero wolf to Goh.

In Sun and Moon, Hala appeared as early as episode 9, while it wasn't until episode 97 that Hau, Hala's grandson, appeared for the first time.
Leon having appeared in episode 12 of Journeys, nothing excludes that we have to wait several dozen more episodes for them to give us Hop, Leon's little brother, or even that he does not appear at all.
