That's not 100% true. Some of them are supposed to be way bigger than it should be.

Oh my fucking god does it matter? There's a reason they aren't scaled to their exact proportions. If Wailord was big, they'd have to zoom out the camera. Zooming out the camera would make your pokemon look smaller, and on a handheld switch or switch lite, that can look pretty bad. They'd rather have you see both than only see one, so scaling pokemon down makes sense. But you guys will complain about anything and everything regardless cause you don't understand actually game design and what would be good for the player. Glad that you guys don't work at gamefreak.

we saw this in battle revolution, it looked fine. Besides, accurately depicting the visual variety of Pokemon is far more important than how the camera looks at one angle, since it constantly cuts around in these games anyway.
