>>45431157Zoomer here, he's okay. His biggest problems are that he isn't that fun to use in game because he doesn't hit as hard as he should, and also his design is a little wonky. I'm not one of those people that thinks it should have kept the look of beta blastoise, going for the cannons was the better idea even if they did come out of nowhere. The bigger problem imo is the proportions of its limbs, it's so big and bulky that it looks really silly standing upright while being so stubby, it really only looks its best in dynamic stills like the OP pic. I mean just look at how pokken and detective pikachu had to extend its limbs to get it to function. The first two evos get away with it by being smaller and lighter, and the line peaked with Wartortle anyway, I probably would've just used Starmie or Lapras if I was around for pokemania.
