>>45438214Sitting at 100+ streak in the Battle Tower on HGSS. My strat was to abuse the AI's decision making to allow me to setup. A choice'd AI mon will very rarely switch out, they will almost always just keep spamming whatever move they're choiced into, so you can use that spam as an opportunity to set up.
>Latias (support)>Latios (nuke)>Registeel (setup (one of the few that can boost Atk, Def, SpD with only 2 moves)Latias first, always uses Trick to give opponent a choice scarf. Whatever move the opponent uses, they will be locked in to and will 99% not switch out. They will most likely use a move super effective to your lead (since I'm 90% sure the AI builds their team based on yours the dirty cheaters), so since Latias and Registeel have perfect weakness coverage for each other, the move will guaranteed be weak against Registeel.
Since the AI is stuck using a move weak to Registeel and they won't switch out, Registeel can use Amnesia/Curse, set up a substitute, and spam Iron Head to victory.
Latios was only used as a backup, in the rare case that Registeel got crit multiple times in a row and died
