But they both have problems staying true to the "spirit" of the originals. They're modernizations, with all the good AND bad parts that come with that.
DP wouldn't benefit from these nearly as much. If ORAS is anything to go by, we can assume it would probably have all the inherent flaws with DP Sinnoh's design, save for Mt. Coronet which would likely turned into hallways or worse.
Don't get me wrong, there would be some benefits, but they would be subjective at best and superficial at worst.
