Nobody beyond low ladder shitters think Toxapex is a good answer to Magma Storm heatran. Sometimes people will switch in their Toxapex just because Heatran is annoying to switch in in the hopes it's Lava Plume or something. Shed Shell Toxapex was even a thing you might see once in a while but more so in gen 7.

People complaining about "smogontrannies" banning Arena Trap and then saying Dugtrio traps Toxapex when in reality Dugtrio is one of Toxapex best partners is kind of evident of the fact that people don't get that stall is the biggest trapping abuser. Yes, other teams use Dugtrio as well. Of something as busted as that will be used by all sorts of teams.
