>>45452558Probably. Depends on how much they plan to rework a lot of characters, if at all. Ultimate got its huge roster because 85% of it was literally ported from Smash 4, which is fine. Not like the game went through any truly major graphical changes, and the characters played pretty similar between with minor changes.
A new Smash game that remodeled all the characters and gave truly updated, if not completely overhauled, moveset changes would probably have far less characters.
