Yeah, well there's also a sense of satisfaction when a lot of people read your FANfiction especially when you put a lot of thought, effort and soul into it. Especially in Pokemon fanfiction(not necessarily smut) where you have to reimagine the character interactions quite a bit to make the narrative slightly more serious and mature to make the story enjoyable.
