they literally have no meaning for the story, just like the battle with the Rose's assistant before you reach the top of the building.

This shit is so random that you want to fucking turn off the game.

1. You fight the fodders because you want get to the Rose guy
2. You fight his assistant
3. There is nothing afterwards
4. Sword and Shield guys appear after postgame
5. They are 'nobles' and act autistic and obnoxious
6. They steal the sword and shield and you literally must bother to fight dynamaxed mons to get to them
7. then you fight them, and they are gone

their dialogues are absolutely fucking shit

I was going to scroll past but I realize I stopped playing the game after they ran off with the shield and didnt bother with it again until the DLC came out. Still havent actually defeated them yet
